چکیده
Abstract In this paper, we argue that there are epistemic norms on evidence-gathering and consider consequences for how to understand normativity. Though the view such seems intuitive, it has found surprisingly little defense. Rather, many philosophers have argued can only be practical or moral. On a prominent evidentialist version of position, apply responding evidence one already has. Here challenge orthodoxy. First, is no significant normative difference between you gathering more evidence. Second, our practices epistemically criticizing agents their poor indicate existence evidence-gathering. Finally, show thesis important implications recent debates about relationship inquiry.

But, so it is argued, it is essential to belief that beliefs ought not, among other things, be self-falsify...

It turns out that epistemic norms here constitute an important too...
